It's about time we looked at some of the concept art for Batman & Robin. I've always had a bit of the problem with the blue suit they used. I really missed the yellow oval and hated the raised eyebrows they added to the cowl. These designs - by Miles Teves - are all vastly superior. I particularly like the second one with reminds me of something DC might have used in an Elseworlds Batman story.
These would fit both Michael Keaton and Val Kilmer. Also Keanu Reeves, or Nicholas Cage, or Johnny Depp.

ReplyDeleteThe first two were thought of Kilmer to wear before he was fired by Schumacher.
DeleteYeah it is Kilmer. I guess it took a while before they cast Clooney so the artist worked with Kilmer's face.

DeleteVal Kilmer would've returned for Batman & Robin with Tim Burton producing, but Burton was doing other projects and Kilmer was fired.
